ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE

ALT~Universal Ministries (“the Ministry”) is a spiritual ministry — not a religion — devoted to serving the spirit within and above all. We are committed to honoring and protecting the privacy of every wombin, woman, or man who interacts with this Site or with the Ministry.

This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of this website and any related sites operated by ALT~Universal Ministries (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you signify your consent to this Privacy Policy and freely consent to the information collection and use practices described herein.

This Site operates in the public domain for informational purposes only. All substantive participation in ALT~Universal Ministries occurs solely within the private domain through the Agreement of Membership and the Laws of the Ministry.

PARTICIPATING MERCHANT & PLATFORM POLICIES

This Site is hosted on and operated through the Kajabi platform (Kajabi, LLC) and uses Kajabi’s infrastructure for website hosting, member portal functionality, email delivery, payment processing, file storage, and related services.

You should review Kajabi’s own Privacy Policy and any other third-party service providers’ privacy policies, as those providers process your information independently of the Ministry.

ALT~Universal Ministries is not the operator, controller, or owner of the Kajabi platform or any third-party tools integrated into it. As a result, the Ministry does not control how Kajabi or other third-party providers collect, store, or process data at the platform level.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AND USE

The Ministry, through the Kajabi platform, may collect personally identifiable information including name, email, mailing address, phone number, payment details, and communications. Non-identifying technical data may include IP addresses, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, access times, and referring URLs. Examples of information we may track include your IP address, browser type, operating system, number of links you click within the Site, state or country from which you accessed the Site, date and time of your visit, name of your internet service provider, web page you linked to our Site from, and pages you viewed on the Site.

This information is gathered to operate the Site, enhance experience, communicate with members and visitors, process registrations, administer membership, and provide ministry services.

Information is not used for medical, psychological, or diagnostic purposes.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Visitors may register for membership through the Agreement of Membership. The Ministry collects contact information and requests additional voluntary data as needed for membership.

The Site’s various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, and surveys may request contact information such as your name and email address, and may request additional information you voluntarily provide. The Ministry will only use information as necessary for legitimate ministry-operational interests, including without limitation the improvement of our offerings, services, and the contents of the Site.

The Ministry may share information only with service providers necessary to operate the Site or fulfill Ministry functions (such as Kajabi, payment processors, or email service providers). Personally identifiable information is never sold or leased to any third parties.

The Ministry does not store credit card information except as necessary to process transactions through authorized third-party processors and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (INTERNATIONAL USERS)

Where applicable, the Ministry processes personal information based on one or more of the following lawful bases:

• Your consent;
• Contractual necessity related to membership participation and requested services;
• The legitimate operational interests of the Ministry.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect from you to third parties without your permission except to the extent necessary, including:

1. To fulfill your requests for information, teachings, programs, products, gatherings, or services.
2. To protect the Ministry from liability or to defend our rights, including investigations of fraud or misconduct, and to respond to legal process or comply with law, including subpoenas.
3. To use third-party systems and service providers (including Kajabi) to help operate the Site and manage our communications and databases.

By using the Site, you consent to the transfer, processing, storage, and access of your personal information in and/or outside of the jurisdiction in which you reside.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all emails sent from the Ministry will clearly state who the email is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender and unsubscribe.

The Ministry may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with the Ministry’s rights or property, other users of the Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

The Ministry may also be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Third parties who provide and/or publish content via the Ministry’s Kajabi service shall be deemed the data controllers for any personal data contained in content uploaded by such parties (“Third-Party Content”) and any other personal data processed in relation to such Third-Party Content.

PRIVATE DOMAIN DATA

Information shared within the private domain of ALT~Universal Ministries — including but not limited to membership platforms, private communities, sacred sharings, sessions, ceremonies, gatherings, coaching communications, and any other space provided through the Agreement of Membership — is governed exclusively by the Agreement of Membership, the Laws of the Ministry, and any related private contracts, and supersedes this Privacy Policy as to such private information.

Within the private domain, sacred sharings and personal journey communications are held with reverence and confidentiality between the wombin, woman, or man sharing and the Ministry Founders, PMA Founders, Stewards, and Mentors entrusted with such sharings.

KAJABI PLATFORM AND THIRD-PARTY DATA HANDLING (LIMITS ON MINISTRY CONTROL)

While the Ministry takes reasonable steps to protect your information within the limits of what it controls, you acknowledge and accept that:

• The underlying data security, storage, and processing of all information you submit through this Site occurs on the Kajabi platform and other third-party infrastructure that is outside the Ministry’s direct control.
• The Ministry cannot control and is not responsible for any data breach, security incident, unauthorized access, data loss, or privacy failure that originates at the Kajabi platform level or any other third-party service provider level.
• The Ministry cannot guarantee the security, availability, or privacy practices of Kajabi or any other third-party provider, beyond what those providers themselves guarantee in their own terms.
• Your use of the Site is also subject to Kajabi’s Privacy Policy and any other third-party providers’ privacy policies.

DATA RETENTION

The Ministry retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Site, provide services, administer membership, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

The Ministry uses reasonable safeguards within the limits of what it directly controls but acknowledges that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure — particularly at the level of third-party platforms such as Kajabi, where security infrastructure is outside the Ministry’s control. Users accept risks of unauthorized access.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION (GENERAL)

ALT~Universal Ministries will not intentionally sell, trade, or rent your personal information. The Ministry may disclose personal information when it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:

a) comply with applicable law or legal process;
b) enforce these policies or private agreements;
c) protect the rights, property, or safety of ALT~Universal Ministries, its members, or others.

YOUR ACCESS TO AND CONTROL OVER YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

At any time, but only once per calendar year (or as otherwise required under applicable law), users may contact the Ministry to review the personally identifiable information the Ministry has collected about them. If you discover errors, please notify the Ministry and the information will be corrected.

The Ministry will honor such requests within the limits of operational, legal, and third-party platform constraints (e.g., what Kajabi permits the Ministry to delete from its systems).

COMMUNICATION CHOICE / OPT-OUT

By submitting your information, you expressly consent to receive electronic communications from ALT~Universal Ministries, including notices, announcements, agreements, disclosures, reports, documents, and updates. You may unsubscribe using email links or by contacting info@alt-university.com.

OTHER DATA

The Ministry may share and publicize aggregate and/or de-identified information with third parties and the public.

CHILDREN

The Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). ALT~Universal Ministries does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If discovered, child data without parental consent is deleted from systems the Ministry directly controls.

MALWARE / SPYWARE / VIRUSES

Neither the Ministry nor the Site knowingly permits the use of malware, spyware, viruses, or other similar types of software. However, the Ministry cannot guarantee the absence of such threats originating at the Kajabi platform level or through third-party services.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS TO EXTERNAL SITES

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or platforms. ALT~Universal Ministries is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. Users should review third-party privacy policies before disclosure of any personal information.

BULLETIN BOARDS, COMMUNITY FORUMS, AND CHAT AREAS

Guests of the Site and members of the Ministry’s private community spaces are solely responsible for the content of messages they post on forums, chat rooms, bulletin boards, or other communal spaces. Voluntary disclosures in these areas can be collected by other members or visitors and may result in unsolicited contact.

COOKIES AND TRACKING

The Site may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and gather analytics. Users may disable cookies through browser settings, though some Site features may not function properly.

Some content or applications may be served by third parties (including Kajabi and other integrations) that may use cookies or similar technologies. The Ministry does not control third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used.

ALL DATA AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALT~UNIVERSAL MINISTRIES MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING SECURITY, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF DATA — PARTICULARLY DATA HANDLED BY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS SUCH AS KAJABI.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL ALT~UNIVERSAL MINISTRIES OR ITS MINISTRY FOUNDERS, PMA FOUNDERS, ELDER COUNCIL, KEEPER COUNCIL, SACRED STEWARDS, MINISTRY MENTORS, VOLUNTEERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM DATA COLLECTION, STORAGE, OR USE — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM DATA BREACHES OR FAILURES AT THE KAJABI PLATFORM OR OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER LEVEL.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. The Ministry does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

TRANSFER OF INFORMATION ACROSS NATIONAL BORDERS

When you access or use the Site and/or services, personal information about you may be transferred and processed in jurisdictions outside your residence (including through Kajabi’s infrastructure). By using the Site, you consent to such transfer and processing.

EU/UK AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you are located outside the United States, you understand and consent that your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where Kajabi or its sub-processors operate. International users may have rights under their local data protection laws (such as GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Requests can be submitted to info@alt-university.com.

TRANSLATIONS

You agree and acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy in English and that the English version shall control.

CHANGES TO THIS STATEMENT / REVISIONS

ALT~Universal Ministries may revise this Privacy Policy at any time by updating this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revisions.

GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes arising from private membership matters are governed by the Agreement of Membership and Laws of the Ministry.

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using the Site, you accept the policies and restrictions set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You are bound by revisions and should periodically review this page.
